Privacy policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data M-Power collects through morepowersolution.com and our consultations, why we collect it, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and how you can see, correct or erase it. It also covers our free astrology tools, payments and cookies, and how to complain if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

In short

  • The free kundli‘s Rashi (D1) chart, all the calculators, the panchang for another date or city, and the Vastu home quiz are worked out in your browser. Using them sends your details to no one, including us.
  • The kundli matching score and the Navamsa (D9) and Dashamsa (D10) charts come from FreeAstrologyAPI. For these, birth dates, times and places (never names) go through our server to FreeAstrologyAPI, and we keep the results, without names, for up to 90 days.
  • For orders and bookings we ask only for what we need to deliver them, hold your consultation and keep the tax records the law requires.
  • Birth details, floor plans and questions from bookings are deleted from our website automatically 12 months after the consultation date.
  • Payments go through Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • The site uses only the cookies it needs to work. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
  • We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.
  • You can get a copy of your data, correct it or ask us to erase it from My account, or by contacting us.

Who we are

morepowersolution.com and our consultations are run by M-Power, the practice of Arun Kumar and Pratham Kumar, founders of DNA Vastu. Under India’s data protection law we are the “data fiduciary” for your personal data, which means we decide why and how it is used.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean M-Power, and “you” means anyone who uses the site or our services.

You can also write to us through the contact page. For questions or complaints about your personal data, contact our grievance officer (see “Grievance officer” below).

The laws we follow

Two sets of rules protect personal data in India. The Information Technology Act 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011 (the “2011 Rules”) apply now. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025 (the “DPDP Rules”) take over from them. Most of their duties and rights start on 13 May 2027.

This policy is written to meet both. Where a right below starts only on 13 May 2027, you can already use it with us. The one exception is a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, which the Board takes from that date.

What we collect and why

Below, for each part of the site, is what we collect, why, the legal basis and how long we keep it. Unless we say otherwise, it is stored on our website’s server, run by our hosting provider, Hostinger.

For most of it, the legal basis is that you give us the details for a clear purpose, such as an order or a booking, and we use them only for that. The DPDP Act calls this a “legitimate use” (section 7(a)). Where we rely on your consent instead, we say so.

You don’t have to give us any of this. Without the details a form marks as required, though, we can’t complete that order or booking.

Shop orders and checkout

When you place an order, whether for an M-Power product or a consultation:

  • What we collect: your name, email address and phone number, and your billing country and state. For product orders, also your street address, city and PIN code, and the delivery address. If you choose, a company name and GSTIN for a GST invoice, and an order note. We also keep what you bought, the price and your order history. The shop software, WooCommerce, records the IP address and browser used to place the order.
  • Why: to process and deliver your order, send order emails, issue a GST invoice, answer questions about the order, check orders that look suspicious, and keep the accounts tax law requires. WooCommerce also uses these details for sales reports on our own server.
  • Legal basis: you give us these details to buy from us (section 7(a)). Tax law requires us to keep invoices and accounts.
  • How long: for as long as GST and income-tax law require, then we delete or anonymise them. Under section 36 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act 2017, that is 72 months after the due date of the GST annual return for the financial year of the order. For example, records of orders placed between April 2026 and March 2027 are kept until 31 December 2033. If an appeal, other proceedings or an investigation concerns them, we keep them until a year after it ends, if that is later. The IP address and browser recorded with an order stay with it for the same time.
  • Unfinished and unpaid orders: a checkout you start but don’t finish is deleted after a day. An order that is never paid, or whose payment failed, goes to the bin 3 months after it was placed and is deleted 30 days later. Cancelled orders are kept with our other order records.

Payments

Payments are made online through Razorpay, by UPI, debit or credit card, or netbanking.

  • What you give Razorpay: your card, UPI or bank details. You enter them in Razorpay’s checkout window, which Razorpay runs, so they go straight to Razorpay. We never see or store them.
  • What we give Razorpay: your name, email address and phone number, the order number and the amount, so it can take the payment. For a refund, we tell Razorpay the order and the amount.
  • What we get back: whether the payment went through, and a payment reference that we keep with your order for as long as the order.
  • Also: Razorpay’s payment script runs on our checkout and order pages, so Razorpay can see your IP address and browser there, and it may set its own cookies. The Razorpay plugin on our site sends Razorpay technical error reports, which can include an order and payment reference.
  • Legal basis: it’s needed to take the payment you choose to make (section 7(a)).

Razorpay handles the details you give it under its own privacy policy and terms.

Consultation bookings

When you book a consultation, you choose the consultation, a package, how the session happens and a free time, then give your details. What we ask depends on the consultation:

  • Every booking: your name, WhatsApp number and email address, and an optional question of up to 1,000 characters. The form also notes your device’s time zone, so we can show the time in your local time.
  • Kundli reading and dosha remedies: date, time (or that you don’t know it) and place of birth, and the person’s name if you add it.
  • Kundli matching: birth details for two people.
  • Numerology: full name and date of birth.
  • Vastu consultation and energy scan: a floor plan, if you choose to upload one (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 8 MB).
  • Site visits: the address and city.
  • Moving or cancelling from My account: the new time, how many times the booking has been moved, and when it was cancelled.
  • Why: to hold your time, take payment, prepare for and hold the consultation, send your confirmation, calendar invite and reminders, and contact you about the session. When you move or cancel a booking, we note it on your order and email you and the founders.
  • Legal basis: you give us these details for the consultation, and we use them only for that (section 7(a)). For another person’s details, see “Details about other people” below.
  • Who sees them: the founders and the staff who handle bookings. Booking emails give the time, how the session happens, its length and, for site visits, the address. They don’t include birth details, floor plans or your question.
  • Floor plans: kept in a folder of their own on our server, under long random file names that aren’t shown on any page. On the site, only the founders and authorised staff can download them.
  • How long: 12 months after the consultation date, we automatically delete from our website the birth details (yours and anyone else’s), the numerology name and date of birth, the site-visit address, the floor plan, your question, your time zone, and the name and contact details on the booking. The booking then keeps only which consultation it was, when and how it was due to happen, its price and its status. Your name and contact details stay on the order for the tax period above. Calendar files made for your emails are deleted from our server after 7 days.
  • Unfinished bookings: if you fill in the form but don’t place the order, your details stay with your cart: for up to 2 days if you’re a guest or, if you’re signed in, until you remove the booking from your cart or place the order. A floor plan is saved on our server as soon as you choose “Continue to payment”, and isn’t deleted automatically if you don’t finish booking. Ask us, and we’ll delete it.

The consultation itself

Sessions happen by phone, video call or WhatsApp, at a site visit, or for Reiki at a distance or in person. A floor-plan review is held by phone, video call or WhatsApp. For phone and WhatsApp sessions, one of the founders calls the number you gave. For video calls, the link comes to you on WhatsApp before the session, and the call runs on the service named in the link, such as Google Meet or WhatsApp, under its own terms.

Recordings, notes and written summaries: we don’t record sessions. Any notes made during a session, and any written summary we send you, are kept with your booking and deleted with your birth details, 12 months after the session.

Your account

You don’t need an account to buy or book. If you create one:

  • What we collect: your name and email address, a username we create for you, your password (stored only in hashed form, which can’t be read back), your billing and delivery addresses, your order and booking history, and when you were last active. When you sign in, the site records the sign-in with your IP address, browser and time until it expires.
  • How it works: we email you a link to set your password. If you create your account at checkout, you’re signed in straight away for that visit. Once you’ve set your password, earlier orders and bookings you made as a guest with the same email address are added to your account.
  • Why: so you can sign in, see your orders, move or cancel consultations, and check out faster.
  • Legal basis: you choose to create an account (section 7(a)).
  • How long: until you ask us to delete your account. We don’t close accounts for being unused. A sign-in lasts 2 days, or 14 days if you tick “Remember me”. Orders and invoices stay for the tax period even after an account is deleted.

Free astrology tools

The free tools don’t ask for your contact details or need an account. This is exactly what happens to what you type:

  • Free kundli, the calculators and the Vastu quiz: the free kundli’s Rashi (D1) chart, planet positions, dasha and dosha checks, the calculators under Free tools (moon sign, nakshatra, ascendant, sun sign, dasha, numerology, Lo Shu grid, mobile and vehicle numbers, love compatibility, mangal dosha, kaal sarp dosh and sade sati), the panchang for another date or city, and the Vastu home quiz are worked out in your browser, on your device. The birth details, answers and any name you type are not sent to us or anyone else, and they’re gone when you close or reload the page. The exceptions are the quiz’s short summary for that tab, and birth details you ask a tool to remember on your device, both explained under “Cookies and browser storage”.
  • Birth-place search: uses a list of places from GeoNames that loads from our own server. The search runs on your device, and nothing is sent to GeoNames.
  • Navamsa (D9) and Dashamsa (D10) charts: these come from FreeAstrologyAPI. When you open either tab on your free kundli, your browser sends the birth date and time, the latitude and longitude of the birthplace and its time zone to our server, which works out the offset from UTC and passes the details to FreeAstrologyAPI. Your name is not sent. These tabs work only when you’ve given a birth time.
  • Kundli matching: FreeAstrologyAPI works out the guna milan (ashtakoot) score. When you press “Match the kundlis”, your browser sends both people’s birth dates, times (noon if a time isn’t known), birthplace coordinates and time zones to our server, which works out the offsets from UTC and passes the details to FreeAstrologyAPI. Names stay in your browser, and the Mangal dosha check is done in your browser too.
  • Today’s panchang: our server gets it from FreeAstrologyAPI once a day for Jalandhar. It uses no information about you.
  • What we keep: our server keeps each FreeAstrologyAPI result for up to 90 days, so the same request loads straight away next time. A matching result includes the score and each person’s moon sign, nakshatra and related factors. Results are filed under a code made from the birth details, with no names, contact details or IP addresses.
  • Daily limit: to stop misuse and stay within our daily allowance from FreeAstrologyAPI, our server counts how many new results each visitor asks for in a day. It stores the count under a one-way code made from your IP address and the date, not the address itself, and deletes it after 24 hours.
  • Legal basis: you ask for the result, and we use the details only to produce it. The daily count is part of keeping the tools available to everyone (section 7(a)). For the other person in a match, see “Details about other people”.

FreeAstrologyAPI is an independent service. It handles the details under its own terms and privacy policy, and its servers may be outside India. If you’d rather not send birth details anywhere, use the Rashi chart and the calculators, which stay on your device.

Contact form

  • What we collect: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, the topic and your message. The form also stores your browser and device type, the page you sent it from and, if you’re signed in, your account. It doesn’t store your IP address.
  • Why: to answer you. Your message reaches the founders by email, and we email you a copy of it with a reference number.
  • Legal basis: you send it to get a reply (section 7(a)).
  • How long: deleted from our website automatically 12 months after you send it. The email copies are kept as described under “WhatsApp and email”.

Monthly horoscope email

  • What we collect: your email address and the rashi you choose when you sign up on a horoscope page. Like the contact form, the sign-up also stores your browser and device type and the page you signed up on, but not your IP address.
  • Why: to email you the monthly horoscope for your rashi, and for nothing else. It is sent through our email service, Hostinger.
  • Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box (section 6). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and we’ll stop straight away.
  • How long: until you ask us to stop. Then your sign-up is deleted.

Reviews and testimonials

  • Product reviews: only signed-in customers who bought the product can review it. The review is saved with the display name and email address on your account, your star rating and your words, and WordPress also records your IP address and browser. Your display name, rating and review are public; your email address isn’t. The reviews show a small profile picture from Gravatar (see “Who we share personal data with”). You choose to post a review (section 7(a)). We keep it while it’s published, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
  • Testimonials: we may ask whether we can show what you’ve told us about a consultation, with the name and city you’re happy for us to use, the consultation and your rating. We publish it only if you say yes. You can withdraw at any time and we’ll take it down. The legal basis is your consent.

WhatsApp and email

  • WhatsApp: our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message already typed, such as the page you’re on, a product name, your order number or your booking time. That message is part of the link, so WhatsApp (Meta) receives it when the link opens, but nothing reaches us until you press send. Chats then happen on WhatsApp, which Meta runs under its own terms and privacy policy, and we see your WhatsApp number and profile name. We also use the WhatsApp number you give when booking to send video-call links, confirm site visits and talk about your booking.
  • Email: we send order emails with a calendar invite, reminders about an hour before a paid consultation (and a day before, if you booked more than a day ahead), emails when a booking is moved or cancelled, a copy of any message you send through the contact form, account and password emails, and replies to data requests. They go out through our email service, Hostinger. The founders get copies of order, booking-change and contact-form emails.
  • No marketing: we don’t send marketing emails or WhatsApp messages, and the site doesn’t send text messages (SMS). If we start a newsletter, you’ll get it only if you tick an unticked box yourself, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
  • Calendar: the “Add to Google Calendar” link opens Google Calendar with the consultation, its time, how it happens and, for site visits, the address. Google receives these only if you click the link.
  • How long: we delete WhatsApp chats and emails about a consultation, including floor plans and birth details sent that way, 12 months after the session, as we do with booking details.

Server logs

Like any website, our host’s web server logs each request: your IP address, the address of the page (which can include words you search for), your browser and the page you came from. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure, which is part of providing the site you visit. We keep them for 180 days, as CERT-In rules require. From 13 May 2027 the DPDP Rules also require us to keep a record of how we handle personal data, with the data it covers, for at least a year, so that misuse can be detected and investigated. That record will be kept apart and used only for that purpose; the shorter periods on this page apply to everything else.

Health and other sensitive information

The 2011 Rules give extra protection to some kinds of data, including passwords, financial details such as card or bank details, and health information. This is how we handle each:

  • Passwords: you set your own from the link we email. We store only the hashed form and can’t see your password.
  • Card, UPI and bank details: you give these to Razorpay, not to us.
  • Health information: we don’t ask for it. Our consultations, Reiki sessions and suggestions are spiritual guidance, not medical advice or treatment (see our disclaimer). Please don’t put medical details in the booking question or the contact form. If you mention a health matter anyway, we use it only for your consultation, and it goes no further than the providers that store our website and deliver our email.

If a service ever needs sensitive information from you, we’ll ask for your consent in writing first and explain why, and you can refuse.

Details about other people

Some services need another person’s details: the second person’s birth details for kundli matching, or a family member’s details for a reading. Please give them only if that person knows and agrees. We use them only for the consultation or result you asked for, and delete them on the same schedule as your own. That person can use any of the rights below by contacting us directly. The law also asks everyone not to give false details or pretend to be someone else.

Children

Our consultations, products and accounts are for adults. Under the DPDP Act, anyone under 18 is a child.

A parent or legal guardian can book a consultation about their child, such as a kundli or numerology reading for a new baby, and give the child’s birth details. The parent or guardian must make the booking themselves. From 13 May 2027 the law requires us to check that the person giving a child’s details is the child’s parent or guardian and an adult, and we will. We’ll ask the person booking to confirm it, and may ask for proof where there is doubt.

We use a child’s details only for the consultation the parent or guardian booked. We don’t track children’s activity, build profiles of them or show them advertising. Please use kundli matching and the Navamsa and Dashamsa charts with a child’s details only if you’re the child’s parent or guardian.

If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. If we find we’ve been given a child’s details without a parent’s or guardian’s agreement, we’ll delete them.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only the cookies the site needs to work. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you don’t see a cookie banner. If we ever want to add cookies that aren’t needed, we’ll ask first, and they’ll stay off unless you agree.

  • wp_woocommerce_session_… links your browser to your cart, including any booking details you’ve entered. It lasts 2 days, or 7 days if you’re signed in.
  • woocommerce_items_in_cart and woocommerce_cart_hash tell the site whether your cart has anything in it and when it changed. They’re deleted when you close your browser.
  • wordpress_logged_in_… and wordpress_sec_… keep you signed in. They last 2 days, or 14 days if you tick “Remember me”.
  • wordpress_test_cookie checks that your browser accepts cookies when you sign in. It’s deleted when you close your browser.
  • wp-resetpass-… is set while you set or reset your password from the link we email. It’s deleted when you close your browser.

The cart and checkout also keep three small items in your browser’s local storage (storeApiNonce, storeApiCartHash and a checkout flag): a security code for the cart, a code that notices changes to the cart, and a note that you’ve changed an address without saving it. They hold no personal details and stay until you clear your browser’s data for our site. Our free tools and booking form don’t set cookies. A few small items use your browser’s storage. The home page remembers the rashi you last picked (mpower-rashi, in local storage, until you clear your browser’s data for our site). The Vastu home quiz keeps a short summary of your answers for the tab you’re using (mpower-vastu-quiz, in session storage, gone when you close the tab) so the booking form can offer it as your question. And only if you tick “Remember these details on this device”, the free tools keep the birth details you chose to save (mpower-birth-profiles, in local storage) so they and the booking form can fill them in next time: “Forget” next to a saved person removes them, and so does clearing your browser’s data for our site. None of this reaches us unless you send the booking form.

When you pay, Razorpay’s checkout may set its own cookies or storage, which Razorpay’s policies explain. Our fonts load from our own server, and our pages don’t embed maps, videos, chat widgets or social media content. Links to WhatsApp, Google Calendar or Google Maps open those services only when you click them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart, checkout and sign-in won’t work without them.

Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only when it’s needed, and only what’s needed. We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

  • Razorpay: to take payments and make refunds, as described under “Payments”.
  • FreeAstrologyAPI: the provider for kundli matching and the Navamsa (D9) and Dashamsa (D10) charts. It receives birth dates, times and places, without names, contact details or your IP address.
  • Our hosting provider, Hostinger: stores the website, its database, uploaded floor plans and backups.
  • Our email service, Hostinger: delivers the emails the site sends.
  • Our courier: your name, delivery address and phone number, to deliver a product order.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), Google Calendar and our video call service: only when you use them, as described above.
  • Gravatar (Automattic): shows a small profile picture next to each review. It receives a coded version (a hash) of the reviewer’s email address, and when you view reviews your browser loads the pictures from Gravatar, which sees your IP address and browser.
  • WordPress.org: if your browser can’t display an emoji on our pages, it downloads the emoji image from WordPress.org, which then sees your IP address and browser.
  • Our website developer: may see personal data while maintaining or repairing the site.
  • Our accountant and the tax authorities: invoices and order records, for our tax returns and whenever tax law requires.
  • Courts, police and other authorities: only when the law requires us to, and only what they’re entitled to.
  • Our lawyers: only if we need to establish, defend or enforce a legal claim.

Our host, email service and developer may use personal data only to provide their service to us, and must keep it secure. When we erase your data, we also tell them to erase any copies they hold for us. Razorpay, FreeAstrologyAPI, WhatsApp, Google, Gravatar and WordPress.org handle data under their own terms and privacy policies. WooCommerce’s usage tracking is switched off, so the shop software sends no customer or order data to its maker.

Where your data is kept

Our website, its database, uploaded files and our emails are held by Hostinger, our hosting provider, on its servers, which may be in India or abroad.

Some data is handled outside India. FreeAstrologyAPI’s servers may be outside India, and WhatsApp, Google, Gravatar and WordPress.org work worldwide. The law allows this unless the Government of India restricts transfers to a country, and we won’t send personal data to a country it restricts. We send personal data abroad only when it’s needed to provide what you asked for. Sensitive personal data, such as your hashed password, goes only to providers that protect it at least as well as Indian law requires.

How we protect your data

  • The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
  • Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay. We never see or store them.
  • Passwords are stored only in hashed form, which can’t be turned back into the password.
  • Floor plans and calendar files are kept in a folder of their own under long random file names, and on the site only the founders and authorised staff can open them.
  • Booking details can be seen only through password-protected accounts on the site’s admin side, which we give only to the founders and the staff who handle bookings.
  • We keep less over time: booking details, contact messages and tool results are deleted on the schedules above. For the free tools’ daily limit we keep only a one-way code made from your IP address, for a day. Orders, reviews, sign-ins and server logs do record IP addresses, as described above.
  • Our host keeps backups so the site can be restored if something goes wrong: the database every day, kept for 14 days, and the files every week, kept for 4 weeks. Data we erase can remain in a backup until that backup is replaced.
  • Providers that handle personal data for us must keep it secure under their contracts with us.

No website can be made completely secure, but we keep these measures under review.

If there’s a data breach

If a breach affects your personal data, we’ll tell you without delay what happened and when, the likely effects on you, what we’re doing about it, what you can do to protect yourself, and whom to contact. We’ll also report it to CERT-In and, from 13 May 2027, to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.

Your rights and how to use them

You have the rights below over your personal data, and there’s no charge for using them. To find your data we need an identifier: your order number, the email address you used, or the phone number you gave. We may ask you to confirm the request from that email address or number before we act, so that no one else can get at your data.

See a copy or a summary of your data

If you have an account, go to My account, open Account details and, under “Your data”, choose “Email me a copy of my data”. We email you a link to confirm the request is yours. Once you confirm, we prepare a file with the personal data we hold about you, including your orders, bookings, birth details and contact messages, and email you a link to download it. The link works for 3 days.

You can also ask us for a plain summary of the data we hold and what we do with it, and for the names of everyone we’ve shared it with and what we shared.

Correct or update your data

Change your name, email address or password in My account, under Account details, and your billing and delivery addresses under Addresses. To correct birth details or anything else on a booking, message us on WhatsApp or email us before the session. For anything else, contact us and we’ll put it right.

Erase your data

If you have an account, go to My account, open Account details and, under “Your data”, choose “Ask to erase my data”. We email you a link to confirm. Once you confirm, we carry out the erasure within the time under “How long we take”. We erase your saved billing and delivery details, the birth details, floor plans and questions on your bookings, and your contact-form messages. Your account itself (your name, email address and sign-in, and anything left in your cart) stays until you ask us to delete it, and then we delete it.

Some records have to stay: invoices and order records for the tax period, and each booking’s consultation, date, price and status. If you have a consultation coming up, erasing also clears the details we need for it, such as birth details, so we’ll contact you about it using your order details. To have a review taken down, just ask.

If you don’t have an account

Use the contact page and choose “My data or privacy”, email us at prathamastro@gmail.com, or write to our grievance officer. Tell us what you’d like, and give your order number, the email address you used or the phone number you gave.

Withdraw consent or ask us to stop

Where we rely on your consent, such as for a testimonial or, in future, a newsletter, you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it: reply to our message or email, use the unsubscribe link, or contact us. Where we use details you gave us for an order or booking, you can also tell us to stop.

Once you withdraw, we stop using the data and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawing doesn’t affect what we did before. If we need the data to deliver an order or hold a booking, we’ll tell you what stopping would mean before we act.

Consent Managers registered with the Data Protection Board of India (registration opens on 13 November 2026) will let people give, manage or withdraw consent in one place. Until we connect to one, you can make any request to us directly, as set out below.

Nominate someone

You can name a person to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to act for yourself. Email our grievance officer from the email address you use with us, giving the person’s name, their relationship to you, and their email address and phone number. We’ll confirm by email, and you can change or cancel the nomination the same way. When the time comes, your nominee will need to show us a death certificate or a medical certificate, and proof of their own identity.

How long we take

We act on requests within 30 days. Every reply gives our grievance officer’s contact details, so you know whom to ask about it. We keep a record of each request and our reply for 3 years.

Please give us accurate information, and make requests only for yourself or for someone you’re legally allowed to act for.

Grievance officer

For questions about how we use personal data, or a complaint about how we’ve handled yours, contact our grievance officer:

Tell us your order number, or the email address or phone number you used, and what went wrong. Within 48 hours we acknowledge your complaint, give you a reference number and send you a copy of it as we recorded it. We resolve it within one month of receiving it.

Complaining to the Data Protection Board of India

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, or we haven’t answered within one month, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India from 13 May 2027. The law asks you to use our grievance process first. The Board works online, through its official website. We will never ask you to give up your right to complain, and you can also use any other remedy the law gives you.

Language

This policy is in English. From 13 May 2027, the DPDP Act gives you the choice of reading it in English or in a language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution, such as Hindi or Punjabi. If you’d like it in Hindi or Punjabi, ask us and we’ll send you a translation.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we want to use your personal data for a new purpose, we’ll ask for your consent first. If you gave us personal data before 13 May 2027, we’ll email you this notice as soon as we reasonably can after that date, as the DPDP Act requires.
