Consultations
How does an online consultation work?
You choose a consultation and book it on the site, on WhatsApp or by phone. At the booked time one of the founders calls you by phone or on WhatsApp, or joins you on a video call, whichever you chose. The video link comes to you on WhatsApp before the session. If your consultation includes a written summary, you receive it afterwards.
What do I need to share before the session?
For astrology services, your date, time and place of birth. For Vastu, a floor plan of the home or office, with north marked if you know it. You can add these while booking.
Can I reschedule a booked consultation?
Yes. If you booked with an account, go to My account, open Consultations and choose Change the time. You can move a booking twice, up to 24 hours before the session. Inside 24 hours, message us on WhatsApp or email us.
Booked as a guest? Create an account with the same email address. Once you have set your password from the email we send, your bookings appear there. Or message us with your order number. The refund and cancellation policy explains cancelling.
Vastu consultation
Do I need to break walls or rebuild?
No. DNA Vastu remedies work through placement, colour and energy tools, so the building stays as it is. That also makes them suitable for rented homes and offices.
Can Vastu be done from a floor plan, without a visit?
Yes. Most homes and offices can be read from a floor plan with north marked. A site visit adds a walk-through of every room, which helps for large or unusual buildings, factories and plots.
Is Vastu only for new buildings?
No. Most people book when they already live or work in a place. The reading starts from the space as it is and suggests what to change first.
Kundli reading
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
Share what you know. An approximate time still gives your rashi and nakshatra, and the founders will tell you which parts of the reading depend on the exact time.
Is the free kundli the same as a kundli reading?
The free kundli works out your chart. A reading is one of the founders interpreting it for you: how the planets, houses and dashas come together in your life, and what to do about it.
Can I book a reading for my child?
Yes. A parent or guardian books the session and shares the child’s birth details.
Numerology
Do I have to change my name?
No. Numerology can suggest a spelling that suits your numbers better, but whether you use it is always your choice.
Which system do you use?
The Chaldean system, the same one as the free numerology calculator, so you can check your numbers before the session.
Can you check a business name?
Yes. Share the names you’re considering and the date the business started or will start.
Reiki healing
Is Reiki a medical treatment?
No. Reiki is a relaxation and energy practice. It doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition and it doesn’t replace medical care, so keep following your doctor’s advice.
How does a distance session work?
You rest at home at the agreed time while one of the founders gives Reiki from a distance. You talk before and after on a call or on WhatsApp.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on you. Some people book one session; others come back regularly. The founders will talk it through with you after the first one.
Energy scan and dowsing
What is geopathic stress?
In the dowsing tradition, geopathic stress is energy from underground water, faults or cavities that is believed to disturb a place. Dowsers look for these lines and suggest ways to rearrange the space around them.
Is an energy scan the same as a Vastu consultation?
They work well together. Vastu reads the layout and the directions; an energy scan checks the feel of the space itself. Many people start with one and add the other.
Can it be done from a distance?
Yes, from a floor plan and photos. A site visit gives the fullest picture, especially for large homes, shops and factories.
Dosha remedies
Is every dosha serious?
No. Many doshas are mild, or cancelled by other placements in the chart. The reading tells you which ones really apply to you.
Do I need an expensive puja?
Not necessarily. Remedies are chosen to suit you, and many are simple: a mantra, charity or a change in routine.
Can I check for doshas myself first?
Yes. The free Mangal dosha, Kaal Sarp dosh and Sade Sati checkers give a first answer from your birth details.
Kundli matching
What guna milan score is good for marriage?
Traditionally, 18 or more gunas out of 36 is considered suitable, 25 or more is a good match and 33 or more is excellent. The score is a starting point: a full reading also looks at both charts, the doshas and the timing of the marriage.
What does it mean if we have Nadi or Bhakoot dosha?
Nadi dosha means both share the same nadi; Bhakoot dosha means the two rashis sit in a difficult position to each other. Both are weighed seriously in traditional matching, and both have well-known exceptions and remedies, so the founders check them in a consultation.
Are our birth details stored?
We don’t keep them with your names. To work out the score, the dates, times and places of birth (not the names) are sent to FreeAstrologyAPI, our astrology data provider. The site keeps the result, without names, for up to 90 days so the same request loads instantly next time.
Payments and refunds
How can I pay?
Online through Razorpay, by UPI, debit or credit card, or netbanking. You get a confirmation by email as soon as the payment goes through.
Products and delivery
Which one should I choose?
It depends on where you’ll keep it. The Booster is a pocket-sized box to carry with you or keep in a car, on a desk or at home, in two sizes, Small and Big. The Magic Stick is placed in a home, shop or office whose layout can’t be changed. The Energy Harmonizer is kept in a room where you spend time, such as a bedroom or a meditation corner.
Still unsure? Send a message on WhatsApp or ask in a consultation. You never need to buy a product to book one.
Are the products ready to use when they arrive?
Yes. The founders energise every piece before it’s packed, so there’s nothing more to do before you use it. Energising is a spiritual practice: it doesn’t change what the product is made of, as our disclaimer explains.
Do I still need to wear a gemstone?
The M-Power products aren’t a replacement for a gemstone (rashi ratna), and we don’t claim they do the same job. Whether a gemstone suits you depends on your birth chart, which the founders can look at in a kundli reading. If you already wear one, you can keep wearing it.
Where do you deliver, and how long does it take?
We deliver to addresses in India. Any delivery charge shows at checkout, before you pay. Dispatch and delivery times are in our shipping policy.
What if something arrives damaged?
Message us on WhatsApp or email us with your order number and a photo of the damage. You can have a full refund, including any delivery charge. Our refund and cancellation policy explains how returns work.
Privacy
Is what I share kept private?
Yes. Your birth details, floor plan and questions are used only for your consultation, and only the founders and the staff who handle bookings see them. We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising. Birth details, floor plans and questions are deleted from our website automatically 12 months after your session.
The free kundli’s birth chart and the calculators work inside your browser, so what you type there isn’t sent to us. The exceptions are the Navamsa and Dashamsa tabs and kundli matching, which send birth details, never names, through our server to FreeAstrologyAPI. The privacy policy lists everything we keep and who helps us, such as Razorpay for payments.
How can I get a copy of my data, or have it deleted?
With an account, go to My account, open Account details and choose “Email me a copy of my data” or “Ask to erase my data”. We email you a link to confirm the request is yours, then deal with it.
Without an account, send us a message from the contact page and choose “My data or privacy”. Tax invoices have to be kept for as long as the law requires, even after an erasure request.
Astrology basics
Why do the horoscopes use my moon sign?
Vedic astrology reads your horoscope from your rashi, the sign the Moon was in when you were born. It can differ from the sun sign used in Western horoscopes. If you're not sure of yours, the rashi finder works it out from your birth details.
How accurate is the free kundli?
Planet positions are calculated with a professional astronomy library and the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard used in Indian astrology. In our tests our engine matched FreeAstrologyAPI to within one arcminute (a sixtieth of a degree). Other software can give different results, for example if it uses another ayanamsa. The result depends most on your birth time: the lagna moves about one sign every two hours. The disclaimer explains more.
What if I don’t know my birth time?
Tick "I don't know the birth time". You still get your rashi, nakshatra, planet positions and dasha periods, with a Moon chart (Chandra lagna) in place of the birth chart. The founders can help estimate your birth time in a consultation.
Free tools
Ascendant calculator
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
The lagna can’t be worked out without a birth time, because a new sign rises about every two hours. Use the time on your birth certificate or hospital record if you have one. If you only know it roughly, look at the times shown with your result: if your whole range falls inside that window, your lagna is the same either way.
Why is my lagna different from the rising sign on Western sites?
Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, which follows the seasons. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, which follows the stars and is now about 24 degrees behind. The same rising point can fall in different signs in the two systems, and the calculator shows both.
Which ayanamsa and houses does it use?
The Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, the one adopted for India’s national calendar and used by most Indian astrologers, with whole-sign houses: the rising sign is the first house, the next sign the second, and so on.
Sun sign calculator
Which sun sign should I read, the Vedic or the Western one?
Use the one that belongs to the system you are reading. Vedic horoscopes, including the ones on this site, are read from your moon sign, which the moon sign calculator finds. Western horoscopes use the tropical sun sign.
Does my birth time matter for the sun sign?
Usually not, because the Sun stays in each sign for about a month. It matters only if you were born on the day the Sun changed sign. The calculator tells you if that happened and at what time the Sun moved on.
What is the ayanamsa?
The ayanamsa is the gap between the tropical and sidereal zodiacs: about 24 degrees today, growing by about one degree every 72 years. This calculator uses the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard in India.
Lo Shu grid
Are my mulank and bhagyank added to the grid?
Many Indian numerologists add them, so the calculator does unless you untick the box; the classic grid uses the digits of the date alone. Some also add a Kua number worked out from the year of birth and gender. The result says which numbers were used.
Is a missing number a bad sign?
No. A date of birth has at most eight digits and zeros are left out, so every grid has gaps. Traditionally a missing number points to a quality that takes more conscious effort, not to something you lack.
Can my grid change?
Your grid comes from your date of birth, so it stays the same all your life. Numerologists sometimes suggest a name spelling or a mobile number whose numbers fill the gaps; the numerology calculator shows your name number.
Mobile number numerology
Should I change my mobile number?
Not because of a calculator. Many people keep a number for years for work and family, and that has its own value. If you are getting a new number anyway, a numerology consultation can suggest totals that suit your date of birth and name.
Do zeros count?
A zero adds nothing to the total, so it doesn’t change the single digit. Some numerologists also look at repeated digits, zeros and the pairs of digits within a number; the calculator uses the total only.
What if my number isn’t friendly with my mulank?
It is one traditional factor, not a verdict on the number. Numerologists weigh it together with your bhagyank and name number, and many people are comfortable with a number that doesn’t match.
Vehicle number numerology
Whose date of birth should I use?
Usually the owner’s: the person the vehicle is registered to. If someone else drives it most of the time, some numerologists use the main driver’s date of birth instead.
Do the letters count?
In the most common method, no: only the digits are added. The calculator also shows the total with the letters at their Chaldean values, for those who follow that method. For PB 08 AB 1234 the letters add 8 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 13.
Which single digit is best for a vehicle?
There is no single best number. Traditionally a number whose planet is friendly with the owner’s mulank and bhagyank is preferred. A numerology consultation looks at the owner’s full numbers before suggesting which totals to look for.
Love compatibility
What is Bhakoot dosha?
When the two moon signs are 2nd and 12th, 5th and 9th, or 6th and 8th from each other, Bhakoot scores 0 of 7, and this is called Bhakoot dosha. Many astrologers treat it as cancelled when both signs have the same lord or the two lords are friends, which the calculator points out.
Can we use this instead of kundli matching?
No. It covers 12 of the 36 points and none of the kootas that come from your nakshatras. Use it as a first look, then check the full guna milan, and for a marriage have both charts read in full.
What if we don’t know our birth times?
The Moon stays in a sign for about two and a half days, so the date and place are usually enough. If the Moon changed sign on the day one of you was born, the calculator gives the time it changed. If you already know your moon signs, choose them directly.
Dasha calculator
Why are my dates different from another website?
The dates depend on the ayanamsa and on the length of year used. This calculator uses the Lahiri ayanamsa and years of 365.25 days. Other software may use a slightly different ayanamsa or year length, which moves the dates by days; a few programs use 360-day years, which moves them by months over a lifetime.
What is the difference between mahadasha and antardasha?
The mahadasha is the main period, from 6 to 20 years long. Each one is divided into nine antardashas, or sub-periods, from about three and a half months to just over three years long. Astrologers read the two together, for example Jupiter mahadasha with Saturn antardasha.
Is any dasha good or bad?
Not on its own. How a period is read depends on where that graha sits in your chart, the houses it rules and its strength. A kundli reading looks at your current dasha in that context.
