How a mobile number is added up

All ten digits are added together, and the total is added again until one digit is left. For 98765 43210 the total is 45, and 4 + 5 = 9. A +91 or a leading 0 is left out.

Comparing it with your numbers

Each digit is ruled by a planet, from 1 for the Sun to 9 for Mars. Numerologists compare the planet of your mobile number with the planets of your mulank and bhagyank, using the traditional friendships between the planets. A matching or friendly number is usually preferred. Traditions differ on Rahu (4) and Ketu (7), so pairs with those are best judged by a numerologist.

Traditional guidance, not a promise

A number’s total is one traditional factor, not a prediction about calls, work or money. If you are choosing a new number, a numerology consultation looks at your full date of birth and your name first.

Questions

About mobile numbers

Should I change my mobile number?

Not because of a calculator. Many people keep a number for years for work and family, and that has its own value. If you are getting a new number anyway, a numerology consultation can suggest totals that suit your date of birth and name.

Do zeros count?

A zero adds nothing to the total, so it doesn’t change the single digit. Some numerologists also look at repeated digits, zeros and the pairs of digits within a number; the calculator uses the total only.

What if my number isn’t friendly with my mulank?

It is one traditional factor, not a verdict on the number. Numerologists weigh it together with your bhagyank and name number, and many people are comfortable with a number that doesn’t match.
